It's hard to believe that it's almost Christmas...last week here in Ohio it was 70 degrees outside. Which is WAY not normal. Usually it's 30ish...but everything's back to normal and it's stickin' COLD outside. Hopefully we'll get a bunch of snow for Christmas!!!!! Fortunatly the "bun in the oven" is keeping me warm. HA HA HA

Ah, the christmas season in the rockies!! snow falling.. the thud of axes against soon to be christmas trees.. the smell of freshly baked gingerbread and candy canes... unpacking memories along with the ornaments.. the crinkle of wrapping paper... hot chocolate or coffee after a snowball fight... the celebration of christ's birth. I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE COLORADO ROCKIES!

Yayyyy I'm so excited it's almost Christmans. That brings a much needed break in college! heck yes..me and my friend are actually researching on what the limit of the brain is and if teachers are physically harming us with all the information they expect us to memorize and know lol.it's good fun..anyways, happy holidays!

The one time you are coming to Minnesota I am driving to Texas...I'm bummed =o( what are the odds!

hey sara!

guess what!? it SNOWED here!!! big time! it was crazy! it's been nearly 70 degrees every day, and then all of the sudden...BAM! now it feels more like Christmas! the only bad thing is...it's almost time for finals!!! shoot me!

i've got a question. is it ok to enjoy some of the secular parts of Christmas??? i genuinely enjoy the time and thought spent into getting people special gifts. my roommate and i were talking about that the other day, and kinda got into a debate about it. i was just wondering what you thought. i'm not into the whole santa thing...but...it's just...FUN to get into some of the shopping and lights and trees and cards and things of that sort. is that not a good thing?

have a BLESSSSSED day! wish you could play in the snow with me!

Hi!
We're still like 25 days ahead from Christmas, but yeah, lights are everywhere now to remind us that we have to spend a lot of money (it's a way to keep us apart from the true sense of Christmas - Santa Claus doesn't appear in the Bible, or at least not in mine)

But yeah, it's a cool time of the year when people use to be more likely to be kind, and to show love for the others for some days, although they spend the rest of the year only thinking about themselves.
We have to realize that CHRISTmas is about CHRIST, not about ourselves, not about wasting all our money in thinks we don't realy need. Indead, why don't we spend it in helping the others? That's what I think the true 'Christmas Spirit' should be all about.

Well, that's how I see it from here, from Spain. I dunno if things are different there.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy your Holidays and also have a cool concert (I wish I was there to get antoher copy of Innerview).

God Bless,
Josué

Hey Sara

Its crazy how quick Christmas is coming around! I had my first christmas party tonight, which is weird cause its not even November, lol.

Christmas gives me mixed emotions, on the one hand there is good food and that cinnamon smell, then there is the ugly greed fest side to it. And I sit and wonder why are there Christians so annoyed that they are 'taking Jesus out of christmas' by calling it happy holidays. If anything its good they took him out of it because He wasn't really in it to begin with. I dont think He would want to be marked by all of this materialism and gluttony.

Haha sorry to be such a pessimist, christmas can be great if spent in the right ways:)
