12/29/2006 Entry: "youth encounter"

OH MY GOODNESS! these past few days were the MOST REFRESHING days! we played in IL at Youth Encounter and i swear the crowd was so freakin cool...they were such an encouragement to us and really jammed just as much as we did :) it was amazing! i thank God for these past few days, i needed them!

I know I told you this before but u guys really ROCKED at youth encounter.the reason I didnt say any thing was b/c I was scared. Not of u but I really didnt want to mess it up.but next time i see your band play I say anything. may be we can chill or something. much love morgan

about 150 miles... but we drive about that much every sunday... so it wouldn't have been a big deal to drive that far... Tabby recently moved in. we had to take care of a few things... Are you guys comin' to indiana anytime soon???

megan-hey there! we love you too :)

kirsty-hey girl, the hoodies are, well the more girly colors are more fitted style, and pretty true to normal size, and the the gray and red one is boys sizes...like the small would fit me in the boys just baggy if that makes sense?? let me know if you have any questions :)

steph-im so bummed...how far away was it from you???

allie-and how far were you from the event? i forgot where you live, sorry

o my. it was sooo good.. i cryed like a baby. and it takes alot for me to cry. Sara thanxs for telling everyone about Battlecry. Um. i loved Youth encouner soooo much by the way. im changing my ways. no more getting kicked out of school and fighting. its all God now. i know its going to be hard and i cant do it by myself.. Thats why there is GOD!. lol well i g2g luv ya sooo much.. :)

Hey Sara

Sweet, glad it went well for you guys.

Am thinking of getting a hoodie, so I was wondering what brand they are, cause its hard to figure out the fittings sometimes. Also wanted to know whether the pink ones are the girly fit type or if they are both just regular guy type fit?

On another note, tonight was the craziest night ever. We usually go out to hand out hot chocolate on Friday nights around the neighborhood, so all was going ok, we were talking to this guy and all of a sudden we hear gunshots, they must have been literally half a block away, so we had to run away. There were like 6 of them, it was so crazy. I am still in shock over the whole thing! I dunno what exactly happened or if someone got hit or what. Would love the prayers for the people involved and that it wouldn't instill fear in me for working here.
