04/30/2007 Entry: "the doves"

well we had a good time at GMA week. had lots and lots and lots of interviews. you'd wake up, grab coffee, and run to interview after interview and run to your room for a 20 minute nap and either get ready to go play a show that night or see someone else's show! needless to say it was extremely busy, but an incredible blessing to have an outlet to express our thoughts on the new record, and on life in general! plus it was really cool getting to run into ole' friends and hang a bit! that was one of the best parts!

the pic is of us "posing" of course! we snuck into a little room on the way to an interview, and decided to take a pic. marcus and chad started sharing their "thank you's" to everyone for the "awards" we were getting...well, what we didn't realize was the mic was on and was blasting/interupting the serious meeting going on on the other side of the back drop...so we were "escorted out" directly after our "thank you's" but no worries, cuz next year you can watch the real deal on tv, the Lord willing, its up to Him :)

It was good to see you all at GMA. Marcus gave me a copy of the record and it is SMOKIN' HOT! I don't want to wait for the release, so can I play some cuts on my show...please ;)

it was soooooooooooooooooooo good to finally get to see yall play for at least a few minutes... and i agree... it was fun to chill w/old friends... in my case it was yall...

Wow thats hilarious about the mic being on. I laughed out loud when i read it....and my roommate looked at me weird. but still great. Lord willing you'll have one of those next year :D later.
