12/22/2007 Entry: "soldier boy"

so tonight we played at a teen homeless shelter and man...it was so freakin awesome! it was just real....and i loved it. i loved the people, the rawness of the atmosphere...it was a blessing...and then some kids were teaching me and charlie how to do the "soldier boy" dance : ) while a girl played charlie's drums and layed down the beats! :) was a lot of fun...some cool cats....

hey, haven't been on here much! Guess I have a bit to catch up on, lol.

I just wanted you to know that you hanging out with them was probably the most effective part of your outreach. You touched them even more than you think!!
Soulja Boy "Crank That" is so much fun to dance to. It's not very clean, true, but if you omit the bad words like my friends and I do it's fine.

Short story-
I was teaching my friend Jesse the dance, and he flapped his arms like a chicken when hopping back on one foot! We all fell over laughiong and now that's what we all do at that part!

and i think thats really cool for them to be having soo much fun being in the position they were in...soo real ya know? you prolly brightened their day!

ha! well i haven't really listened to it...they were singing it...but we were hangin out with all those cats and to me...well we were just having fun and i liked dancing or trying at least:) but thanks for warning me! :)

umm that soldier boy dance/song is not a very clean song just thought i'd letcha know...

That sounds awesome Sara! So many of my friends can do the Soulja Boy dance. the only part i know is "Superman" haha.
