08/13/2008 Entry: "a girls life"

i went to a fashion show the other day and theses two little girls performed a dance. i took a couple pics, and even though this isnt a great quality pic, it says so much to me...as girls, we are born into a beauty pageant of sorts, whether we want to be or not...it's nuts...i can't explain the depth of what i'm saying but hopefully the pic can say it for me... :)

I know exactly what you mean! That thought has played into my mind before....it seems most of the world makes us girls evaluate ourselves in what the mirror says....even the littlest sistas begin to think am i pretty?? pretty enough? so sad... what can we do to change that?? find our worth in God I think... Psalm 45:11 my fave verse ever...."The King is enthralled by your beauty,honor Him for He is your Lord."
