08/20/2008 Entry: "new artwork"

here's some new artwork. u can check it out on our store if ya like.

the pink ribbon painting was inspired by my mom. i wanted to make something that would be an encouragement to women battling this sort of cancer. i just painted the ribbon at first but wanted to put verses all over it so everytime they saw it, that it would breathe strength and hope into their soul.

the other is just an abstract expression.

oh yeah and those bottom paintings you did...i LOVE the colors! those are most of my fav colors! good job sista!

haha i couldn't teach you anything about painting!!! lol. my SISTER could though! she's an art major! i was gonna show you the pic i'm working on, but now i'm unhappy with it. lol. i gotta figure out how to make it better.

and i'm super glad you liked that other one i painted for you! it was FUN!!!

blah. i missssss you. maybe sometime we can drive and meet up in the middle somewhere. lol. i dunno. or maybe you'll have a show nearby. and i'll come tackle you!

luv the artwork!! my favorite is the one of the pink ribbon my friends mom is a breast cancer survivor! twas amazing! yay for God!!

lindz-yeah maybe you could teach me something :) i LOVE the one you painted for me. i have it up in my room! it's awesome :) by the way, 10 hours isn't THAT long, come visit me sometime :)

oh. my. gosh. i LOVE both of these. if you lived closer we could have painting dates. it would be fun. except i have a feeling we'd end up getting in fights and painting each other. ha! boo for 10 hours of driving between us. :(
