10/07/2008 Entry: "last radiation"

wow! i can't believe it's been a whole week since i've written on my journal...weird.

anyway, today is an exciting day because my mom finishes her LAST radiation, and will be cancer free! praise god! it's been a crazy ride, but she has been SO strong, and full of light. instead of becoming engulfed by depression, she's really used her situation to help encourage others. even as i type this entry, she is writing a note to a woman who has cancer, encouraging her hang onto god...it's nuts! she is an amazing woman...

so, yeah, i've been writing, literally everyday single day. what started out as a SHORT fiction story, has turned into something a little crazy! i just keep writing and writing and writing...so i figure i will just roll with whatever creativity comes my way! i've also been in the studio writing every day. it's crazy! it's like i wrote in a previous entry...i am in such a god given enlightening season. i feel so alive, so i'm just constantly inspired. i really praise god for that! :) (wow, i don't usual say 'praise god', not because i don't want to thank him but, i think because i've heard it all my life, so it's hard to take people seriously that say it...just because i've heard it used so much to create that 'i'm so godly' facade! ha! but i just noticed i put it twice in this entry...well he deserves it, so there ya go!!!:)

ok, well gots to get to work in the studio! man, we are coming up with some killer tunes. marcus is writing a lot of music. it's all over the place stylistically, so i write to whichever one i'm feeling. in fact there is a song on his myspace that is not an "inhabited" song, just something we wrote u can check out. and speaking of which, if any of you know people who need production, studio guitar player, or help writing send them marcus' way! (writing can even happen online...for instance, if you are working on a record, and need help with the music, marcus could send you an idea to work on, etc...sure, there are a lot of technical things involved, so i'm talking about people who are really serious about making an album!) even if you aren't a musician, check out his new music myspace. all the music is stuff he has produced, co written, and played on!

sara- that is fantastic news!! ive been praying for your mom like craziness, and im so glad that God has healed her :]
also, im pretty stoked at just the thought of you all making more amazing music, i cant wait to hear more soon!!

Hey great to hear about your mom, tell her that many prayers were lifted up to God for her.Can you please pray for my grandmother, she has advanced cancer in her brain, spine, lungs, and other places. It has been really hard and with all the advanced classes it has really taken alot of strength out of all of us. Please pray for my family also. You are always in my prayers. God Bless You.

hey sista face. i'm glad your momma is DONE! praise God is right!!! awww...i miss her. tell her i'm thinkin about her still and love her! you guys are awesome, and i knew everything would be ok!!!

i love that you are in such a place of contentment. it makes me...i dunno. comforted to know you're not hurting. thank you for your journal entries. :) i love reading all of them!

Hi Sara. Haven't visited recently and last time your entry sounded very down. I'm glad you're back on track. "Discovered" you at Spirit West Coast a couple years ago and was amazed at your heartfelt energy, then I got into the music ... what an awesome message!! Thank you. For some crazy reason I surfed through your archives and stopped at 5/28/08. If you get a chance check out northcoastchurch.com "Weekend of Service", I think you'll be inspired. Hope you guys can make a run near So Cal some day, we need a reality check. Laine

That is such wonderful news about your mom! Oh Sara such good news about your Mom! I have been praying for her and will continue to do so! And you and Marcus are so blessed with your creativity I cannot wait to see what the future holds! Oh and I know your *praise God* is from deep within your heart, there ARE too many people who *play church* that throw that around.....God knows when we are genuine.
