10/17/2008 Entry: "night before the dawn"

i'm beginning to make a habit of this new love affair with the night. the early morning may be jealous. i'm quite certain it will be in fact. i love the creativity that shows itself in the hours others are found sleeping. it's crazy, the type of creativity I find late, is not at all what i find early. although, i must confess i love both of them equally. is it possible to love them the same? yes, but i must choose one over the other each day. i cannot have them both in one hour. they would not have it. so tonight i will close my eyes, fall asleep, and dream of far away lands. tomorrow if i choose the morning, i shall have dreamt only of the moonlight...

yeah, i love the morning too though...like i LOVE getting up early and starting my day. i'm both, a lover of the nite and day! ha! yeah, but today i choose nite :) i'm working on this tune that's pretty cool. hopefully can write and finish it tonight. marcus is using the studio during the daytime for most of the rest of this week!

Haha I totally know what you mean. At night is when I find myself to be the most creative in writing.
