so i had a GLORIOUS reunion with my amazing destiny! it was great to see her and we had a great easter. this is our Happy Easter poster! :)

I know it's been FOREVER since I've written. I got home and sort of crashed for a few days. It's taken me that long to actually get rested. I was so exhausted from the road. But today I got to hang out by a pool, read a book, get a killer tan :) kiddin, and just relax. Gosh, i love summer! I bet it will be summer in heaven every day!

Anyway, just wanted to say hello to you all! You will be hearing from me more frequently, as I have gotten some rest and will be writing more :)

ok, so today i had an experience i've never had all my years of living...i was FORCED to walk if i wanted to get anywhere...not only walk, but in the freezing, windy cold. ok, so here i am...thinking...ok, i can either sit in the SUPER8 all day and be depressed or walk somewhere...so i walked to get my nails done...something one doesn't have time for on tour, that is, unless you're stranded like we are...so, off i went. i got my nails done, and then i walked really far to a starbucks...

the only thing i took with me was a book, my phone, and my wallet. so, i sat a bit and read. was a nice time. then i walked to target...and when i was checking out they thought i was trying to steal my own book, but i insisted i bought it the day before at barnes n nobles...finally they said, ok and just believed me. but i noticed everytime i was forced to tell someone i was stranded and staying down the street at the SUPER8 (the reason i had to carry in my book in the first place) it was like an instant attitude change...like, they were like ahhhh, you're "one of those"...you know all the cats that run around asking for money with their "i ran out of gas stories"

so yeah, then as i walked it was so windy n cold my hood wouldnt stay on my head making for a more cold walk. then i found myself talking to myself saying things like, "ah its so cold" or simply envying the kid who had a bike. then wondering why not one person asked me if i wanted a ride. not that i would take it, but if you see a girl walkin in the freezing cold...i would think someone would offer...

all that to say its been an interesting experience. its interesting though how people "look" at you differently and even treat you different....but, i must say, all the walking made me feel like all the hard work to get to my destinations made for more valuable, enjoyable experiences :) i may trade my car for a bike or something when i get home :)

so uh, yeah...we really are stranded in Indiana. Our van wont be fixed until wednesday...hmmm

so yeah it's smokey halls and dim lit walls for the next uhhhh couple days...at uh the Super8

then on to Oklahoma, so all you Oklahoma folks be sure to come out and MAKE OUR NIGHT cuz i'd love to be hanging there as opposed to this killer, amazing, hip Super8 hotel...i am getting to do laundry...that's nice...i think i'm going to walk to get a pedicure tomorrow for sure...i need some sort of RNR. ok, well enough of that...will be posting footage on youtube everyday. so be sure to check that out...we've had some crazy adventures...

well...life has been SO BUSY for the past couple weeks i've barely had time to write at all...so here we are, with a couple days off...hopefully i'll get to go home, but we broke down on saturday in a snow storm. fortunately, the bands we are on tour with came to our rescue! Then they gave us a ride to the next state...we are on tour with Seven Glory and Gray Holiday they're cool, nice cats...you all should catch a show if you can. it's been a lot of fun, just busy, busy, busy. we've been on the road over 2 weeks solid, shows every night....

anyway, gotta get up early and hitch a ride with the other bands. so nite. oh! check out our new youtube video...this guy we met today gave us a ride from our hotel to the gig..and well, u just have to watch it...the bass is unbelievable :)
