everyday i become more aware of how little i truly understand God, and how little i probably ever will. he is so tangible, yet so full of majesty and outside of our intellect or reason. He owes us nothing, yet gave us everything. to try to contain Him or bring Him to manageable terms is impossible...anyway...
i know some of you will wonder how many times that i'll revisit this book since i so randomly share quotes from it...:) but it is one of those books that you can revisit for a lifetime..."The Knowledge of the Holy" by A.W. Tozer...check out this quote...unbelievable...

lately i have been reminded of the frailty of this life....how fragile we are...
" thou hast made my days as a hand breath; and mine age is as nothing before thee: every man at his best state is altogether vanity." (ps. 39:5)
...my mom has been extremely sick...please pray for her...it's been a rough couple of weeks, but i am believing God to help her through this.

ok, so i just finished watching Spiderman 3...i must admit i didn't see 1 or 2...but i have to say that i think Spiderman is the cryingest (that's the only word i can use to describe him, had to make one up) super hero i have EVER seen...wow...he cried like every scene. i mean guys can cry, no big deal to me, it's cool, but every scene? wow...so my assessment of super heroes is this...BATMAN totally wins! He's got a good story as to why he is called batman, and he' just all around a good super hero...i never watched any of the Superman movies because he just looked like a big wimp...Batman on the other hand...well, i've only seen Batman Returns but the way he trained to become who he was..VERY COOL! very tough! dig! :)
