hey everyone. wow! we have had quite the week i must say! we've been to a camp, festival, 2churches, an amusement park, and we're on our way to do a tv show in dallas! the camp, wowzers...there was so much energy in that room...it was such a high! thank you guys for the good time! AMAZING SHOW! i love ya'll...then Big Ticket Festival was amazing! we had so so so much fun as well! was fun gettin to hang with people after the show and watch other bands jam!!!! oh! then there was this morning in IL! and my voice went out! im seriously sick...it was hard to sing this morning but God helped me through it and it was a cool service!!!!

ok, well that's all for now, i just took some medicine and so im gonna crash! nite nite

It was a normal show, but I remember walking off stage that night feeling incomplete. I recall wondering if we reached anyone. Little did I know that I was about to look into the eyes of a twelve year old boy whose words would plague me until his story was told in a song. The words that echoed in my mind were, “Every man I ever looked up to let me down!” and through tears he cried, “It’s my fault! It’s all my fault!” That night he told me the most disturbing story of abuse and rejection. As he stood there with tears rolling down his face, I saw the pain of the abandoned, of millions.

The second verse shares the story of my mother’s childhood. She was in the fourth grade when her dad went out “to go to the store and buy a loaf of bread”! He never came back, and it wasn’t until she met Jesus that she realized God would be the Father she never really knew!

The Bible says, “I will be a father to the fatherless”! Psalms 10:14/Psalms 68:5 I truly believe this means to those who have lost a father, as well as those who have been abandoned. This is a song for those who can’t remember the last time they were hugged, or who have never heard their parents say, “I love you”! I pray that God will use this song to supernaturally shower love and hope on the listener.

Sometimes I think fans don’t realize the impact they have on the artist. Many times we hang on their words just as much as they hang on ours.

so i went to the beach yesterday with my mom, and destiny. dang! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the beach! it was Destiny's first time at the beach and OH MY GOSH! she LOVED IT! we ran in the water and i felt like i was 5 again! We had a blast! :) here are some pics i took and one my mom took of me and Des! and thanks for all those praying for my mom...it was her first time to get out of the house in forever...as she has been so sick...please keep praying for her! with every turn in life, i think i am more surprised by what ends up being around the next corner...i anticipate one thing and find another, but one thing i am ever learning and believing more than ever is to TRUST GOD! TRUST GOD when everything is perfect, trust Him when nothing makes sense, trust Him always...why? Because He can see around all the corners ahead and He KNOWS...He is our strength, our shield, and HE IS the FAITHFUL one...He is peace when even the mountains crash into the sea...

can i hear an amen? :)

well i got to hang with some kidos at a vacation bible school today and share a little bit about inhabited and what God has taught me through the years! it was a lot of fun! the kids were awesome and they even made up this cute "thank you sara from inhabited" cheer! it was awesome, made me smile!

ps. congrats miss jeni! LOVE THE PICS! THEY ARE SO CUTE! your lil baby is awesome!!!:)
