was reading this book, "The Pursuit of God" by A.W. Tozer...amazing...he said,
"...listening is not a popular relgion. We are at the opposite end of the pole from there. Religion has accepted the monstrous heresy that noise, size, activity, and bluster make a man dear to God. But we may take heart. To a people caught in the tempest of the last great conflict God says, 'Be still and know that I am God' (Psalms 46:10), and still He says it, as if He means to tell us that our strength and safety lie not in noise, but in silence."-A.W. Tozer
-just interesting thoughts to ponder

so it's been a while since i've written. i've been home some, and tryin to soak up as much summer as possible...now the fact that it has rained everyday here for about a month makes that a bit difficult and feel a lot less like "summer fun"...but i have had my trips to the beach to get my nature fix. it is just always so peaceful there and even though our beach isn't beautiful, it is still a sweet escape. anyway, just wanted to say hey to all of you out there who read this! :)
