ok, so i've decided what i'm gonna be for halloween...an insomniac:) last nite i couldn't go to sleep until 6...yeah, BAD! i got up at 10 but uhh was pretty much a drag all day until now :) anyways, well, honestly, i have no costume, no party to attend, but i am going to visit a good friend in PA. that will be fun! :) can't wait!
k well i have TONS to share that i've been learning...but haven't had time to write it all since i've been busy learning it :)

so, i hope you all are enjoying as beautiful of weather as i am. gee, i hope so! anyway, since it's almost 5am, i may make it up in time to see the sun shine tomorrow :) kidding! nah, today was gorgeous though, a tee bit cold for me, by about 5 degrees :) but amazing! I dread the day i won't be able to sit outside and write...boo for winter. i need to move to cali. i really want to! it's a very cool place..the people are amazing and the scenery plus weather...killer!
ok, so i'm gonna try to go to bed so i don't get sick or something stupid from staying up too late, n trying to get up early...although, i did hear einstein only slept 4 hours or something like that :) so that's what I'm shootin for...
ok, i'm just rambling have said all of nothing. weird, it's today, but feels like yesterday. weird. anyway, I just didn't want you all to go without a post from me today. :) oh, and the pic at the bottom is to convey how much i miss ya'll :)

i'm beginning to make a habit of this new love affair with the night. the early morning may be jealous. i'm quite certain it will be in fact. i love the creativity that shows itself in the hours others are found sleeping. it's crazy, the type of creativity I find late, is not at all what i find early. although, i must confess i love both of them equally. is it possible to love them the same? yes, but i must choose one over the other each day. i cannot have them both in one hour. they would not have it. so tonight i will close my eyes, fall asleep, and dream of far away lands. tomorrow if i choose the morning, i shall have dreamt only of the moonlight...

so i think my hours are getting all whacked out. yep. for sure.
today, i went downtown again to a coffee shop. i like burning lots of gas! :) anyway, i wrote on my story for a few hours! it was fun!
oh and this is so funny! there is this homeless dude that i've seen a lot. he has REALLY spent a lot of time perfecting the art of being a con artist. one day he was carrying a construction hat and had this crazy story, and today he was dressed TOTALLY different carrying around this old book and wallet. he did approach me today, but i was walking to my car alone, so i didn't stick around for the story :) but he should just get a dollar from everyone just for his creativity! :) awesome!
well, i just finished recording my end of the world song. it's very revelations inspired. turned out very cool and vibey! i like it! will work on it tomorrow a bit more!
well im gonna get to bed so i don't waste my daytime tomorrow! ah! so late, almost 4! yikes! destiny is snoring so loud on the end of my bed. i think she was having nightmares, she was shaking all weird, so i woke her up! :) don't ya'll love it when i write late at nite so i can tell ya'll all kinds of useless information :)

well tonight i went downtown to a nice little coffee shop...well, that's not exactly how it was...more like loud and busy, but i have a knack for getting in my own little dimension...speaking of which, i need to post some of my thoughts on quantum physics..not now, but yeah, the place is pretty cool. although, sometimes, i think it has a weird vibe, but it suited me fine. i really just wanted a little get away to write tonight. since all my coffee shops close at 10 p.m. it's nice to find those that close at 2 a.m. got home, hung with marcus a bit, n we chatted over chips and salsa. can't wait to work on the song he's recording now...i think it will be about the end of the world..i just finished reading revelation for what felt like the very first time...holy cow! no words for that one. mind freaking blowing!!! gosh...uhhhh, anyway...life is crazy. i feel like that audioslave song "show me how to live" (cool music vid by the way.i dug it. i'm gonna play a show n the middle of nowhere like that one day) it's like dude...god show me how to live. i don't get it. i know nothing.
ok, well, off to bed, i'm sleepy as anything...i'm probably not making any sense at all...here it is almost 3am...uh oh! better fall asleep fast!!!

Let the Bullets Fly
Being the lead singer of a band has its share of chaos. It can be a rough lifestyle. You live out of a suitcase, rarely sleep in the same bed twice, go to a lonely hotel room after the high of a show, truck stops offer you those nice “unisex” bathrooms (something NEVER meant to exist), and you get to pull some real crazy all nighters. Regardless, Inhabited has been the most amazing experience of my life! Why? Mostly because of the people I’ve been honored to share the stage with.
Like any band that’s lasted for any length of time, we have gone through our share of musicians. Band members have come and gone, but there are two people who have played a vital role in Inhabited from the beginning…that’s Marcus and Charlie!
These two guys have had the guts to risk it all, and live a dream, no matter what the cost! They have sacrificed far more than anyone on the outside will ever know. Listen to Jonah33’s song “Bullets”! The passion and message in that song beats in their hearts! It’s crazy that I have been blessed with the kind of friends, who I am certain, would take a bullet for me! They are a rare breed. They have fought through blood, sweat, and tears to keep the dream alive, when many others abandoned ship.
I’ve seen them walk onto countless stages, and play with every fiber of their being, just so their audience can feel the music like they do. You see, to Marcus and Charlie, it’s far more than mere “entertainment”! Music runs in their veins, it’s what keeps them alive. So, every time they step on stage, no matter if we are playing a huge show or a smaller one, they pour themselves into that moment! I love that about them!
Honestly, I’ve found very few people so loyal, and trustworthy! The older I get, the more I realize that friendships like these are the rare gems in life, we are lucky to find them at all.
So why am I writing this? Because I am thankful! Sometimes we overlook the good things in life because they are always there. Unfortunately, we often neglect to see the extreme value of things until they are gone. So, I wanted to write about them because I am so blessed to have them in my life. I thank God for them! They are my very best friends, and I want the world to know how dear they are to my soul!

wow! i can't believe it's been a whole week since i've written on my journal...weird.
anyway, today is an exciting day because my mom finishes her LAST radiation, and will be cancer free! praise god! it's been a crazy ride, but she has been SO strong, and full of light. instead of becoming engulfed by depression, she's really used her situation to help encourage others. even as i type this entry, she is writing a note to a woman who has cancer, encouraging her hang onto god...it's nuts! she is an amazing woman...
so, yeah, i've been writing, literally everyday single day. what started out as a SHORT fiction story, has turned into something a little crazy! i just keep writing and writing and writing...so i figure i will just roll with whatever creativity comes my way! i've also been in the studio writing every day. it's crazy! it's like i wrote in a previous entry...i am in such a god given enlightening season. i feel so alive, so i'm just constantly inspired. i really praise god for that! :) (wow, i don't usual say 'praise god', not because i don't want to thank him but, i think because i've heard it all my life, so it's hard to take people seriously that say it...just because i've heard it used so much to create that 'i'm so godly' facade! ha! but i just noticed i put it twice in this entry...well he deserves it, so there ya go!!!:)
ok, well gots to get to work in the studio! man, we are coming up with some killer tunes. marcus is writing a lot of music. it's all over the place stylistically, so i write to whichever one i'm feeling. in fact there is a song on his myspace that is not an "inhabited" song, just something we wrote u can check out. and speaking of which, if any of you know people who need production, studio guitar player, or help writing send them marcus' way! (writing can even happen online...for instance, if you are working on a record, and need help with the music, marcus could send you an idea to work on, etc...sure, there are a lot of technical things involved, so i'm talking about people who are really serious about making an album!) even if you aren't a musician, check out his new music myspace. all the music is stuff he has produced, co written, and played on!
hope you all are well. i wish we could all meet and hang and talk over coffee, food, or whatever you all would dream of :)and meet in tangible terms. that would be cool. oh, well, here we are for now :)
